SiliXane®
SiliXane® is a completely new class of adhesives. It offers a hitherto unknown combination of scratch resistance, chemical resistance and high flexibility. Initial tests have shown excellent resistance to corrosion, climate change and friction. At the same time these adhesives permit metal deformation and are hence suited to coating stainless steel coils for e.g. kitchen and sanitary uses. Other uses include for mineral surfaces such as natural stone and concrete where the easy to clean function contributes to protection against dirt and increases chemical resistance.
There are many potential uses and market development has only just begun.
